Poundland is selling a copycat festive bake – and it’s cheaper than Greggs

POUNDLAND has rolled out a copycat festive bake, and it's 55p cheaper than Greggs' and almost double the size.
Similar to the popular treat at the bakery chain, the bargain pasty is made up of chicken breast, pork and cranberries in a sage sauce.
This is then wrapped in a flaky puff pastry.
The rolled out in 700 of more than 800 stores for £1 today, compared to the £1.55 price tag at Greggs.
It weighs 300g while Gregg's version weighs 152g, so you'll get more for your money by shopping at the bargain retailer.
Naturally, each one comes with a lot more calories though as Poundland's version contains 723 calories, compared to just 453 calories at Greggs.
The Poundland treats are sold chilled, and can be gobbled up as they are or heated up in the oven for roughly 20-25 minutes.
The Sun hasn't tried the treats from the bargain retailer so we can't say which one tastes the best.
But if you're keen to go for the cheaper option, then you can find your nearest Poundland shop using .

Another option is to shop at Iceland, which is currently selling two packs of Greggs' bake-at-home festive pasties for £2.
Pastry fans should hurry up if they want to stock up in time for Christmas though, as this offer ends on Tuesday - December 3.
