Target is selling mini $3 pink Christmas trees

EVERY year, Christmas trees get more elaborate as people try to outdo each other with their stylish decorations.

But if you really want to make a statement on a budget, you should head to Target, which is selling pink tinsel trees for just $3 (£2.32).

Eagle-eyed shoppers have spotted the mini trees in store, although they are not available online.

You can find your nearest Target store .

According to , the trees are in the store’s dollar section, where the best bargains can be found.

At around a foot in height, these tiny trees could be the perfect solution if bringing a full-size pink spruce into your home isn’t an option - and let’s face it, an eight foot pink tree is quite a commitment.

The pink tree would look gorgeous on a dressing table, a window ledge or in a child's bedroom, and despite its colour, looks great with traditional red and green baubles.

Searches for pink Christmas trees are up 125 per cent on compared to the same time period in 2018, the home furnishings company told Good Morning America earlier this month.

A search for the hashtag #pinkchristmastree brings up more than 21,000 hits on Instagram.

In the UK, Homebase has slashed the price of its Christmas trees by a third, with prices starting at just £5.40.

And here's where you can find the cheapest Christmas trees this year.

It is also possible to rent a Christmas tree - which might offer a more environmentally friendly alternative to buying one.
