THE busiest time of the year to bag a supermarket delivery slot is at Christmas.
To avoid disappointment, supermarkets have been letting shoppers book delivery slots from the start of November.
When these delivery slots do become available, they can go fast.
Last year, Tesco shoppers were furious after some of the supermarket’s Christmas delivery slots sold out within minutes.
Customers with a monthly “delivery saver” subscription were able to book prime slots for the days before December 25 a week in advance of other shoppers.
Shoppers stayed up until midnight on Monday and Tuesday 2018 to book Christmas delivery slots for December 23 and 24, which is when they became available to all customers for the first time.
There were many complaints that slots in their areas were already sold out as soon as they went live at one minute past midnight.
So, whack the date in your diary and nab the time and date you want.
The Sun has found out when Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Ocado delivery slots will open.
Tesco Christmas delivery slots
opens up delivery slots for customers three weeks ahead of each day. So, for December 20, it’s November 30.
For those who are delivery pass customers, you will be able to nab your spot from November 13.
If you have a delivery pass, then you can book from November 6.
So December 23 delivery slot will be available on December 2 - and this is the last date for delivery.
You won’t be able to get a delivery from December 24 to 26, or on January 1, 2020.
You have to spend a minimum of £60 at Waitrose to book a slot and there’s free delivery.
Ocado Christmas delivery slots
You’ll be able to book for December 20 to 22, though there is a minimum order of £90 between December 20 and 24.
The last slots will be released on December 16 and the last day for orders will be December 21.
All orders over £35 will be delivered free.
