Greggs’ Christmas menu including festive bake and pigs in blankets goes on sale today
GREGGS' Christmas menu is back and from today fans of the bakery chain can tuck into festive bakes, pigs in blankets and more.
This year, fans around the UK had to vote to get the Festive Bake first before it made its nationwide comeback on November 7, with Newcastle winning the vote.
The savoury snack is made up of chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing, and sweetcured bacon in a creamy sage and cranberry sauce, all encased in golden puff pastry with a crunchy crumb topping.
But watch out because the price has gone up 5p this year from its previous £1.50 - we've asked Greggs why and we'll update this story if we get a response.
Bear in mind that there are 453 calories in each bake - an adult man should consume 2,500 calories a day while it's 2,000 for a woman, according to NHS guidelines.
Also making a comeback is Greggs' Christmas lunch sandwich and soup, as well as its pigs under blankets baguette.
