Black Friday 2019 – best deals and rumours so far including Asos, Tesco and Amazon
IT’S ONLY a few weeks until stores take part in one of the most anticipated sale days of the year and rumours are already popping up about where to get the best deals.
Some stores have even started announcing selected deals early to give shoppers an idea of what to expect on the big day.
The annual super sale always takes place in November, just after Thanksgiving, and this year it will be taking place on November 29.
The main event tends to last for 24 hours, but some stores extend sales before and after day itself.
The Monday after Black Friday is often referred to as Cyber Monday, and many retailers offer deals on a range of products.
Tesco
Last year Tesco cut prices on a number of gadgets and toys available in its stores for, and we expect the supermarket will do something similar this year.
One of its best deals last year was an Xbox One Fortnite bundle for £139.
Other highlights from 2018 included Xbox One S 1TB consoles with controllers for £159, 40 inch Smart Full HD LED TV with freeview for £179 and popular Nintendo Switch consoles for £249.
No deals have yet been confirmed for Tesco's Black Friday sale 2019, but TVs, kitchen appliances and gift sets will more than likely be among the bargains.
Tesco has confirmed its sale will run from November 29 to December 2 and that it will have some Cyber Monday deals.
And, adverts have already been spotted in some stores promising Black Friday deals on Tesco Mobile products.
Since Tesco Direct closed last year, most Black Friday deals will only be available in stores - check Tesco’s store finder to check opening times.
Tesco tends to concentrate its Black Friday stock in selected superstores, so aim to visit larger stores for a better chance of nabbing a deal.
Asos
Last year, the online fashion retailer slashed 20 per cent off all its products included some top brands.
The contents of this year’s Black Friday Sale at Asos haven't been revealed yet, but we expect that details will be announced next week.
Most likely, Asos’ Black Friday sale 2019 will include at least 20 per cent off across departments, student discount of up to 30 percent and up to 70 per cent off selected lines.
