Aldi reveals its Christmas sandwiches for 2019 and it includes a hog roast sarnie
ALDI has dropped its festive sarnie range featuring a hog roast sandwich and a turkey and trimming wrap.
These merry lunch treats are available to pick up in stores nationwide from today - and they’re all under £2.
Aldi has added some new flavours to its winter range, including a hog roast sandwich which costs £1.79.
The sarnie is filled with roasted pulled pork, sage and onion stuffing, tangy apple sauce, seasoned mayonnaise and fried onions.
Another new addition is the turkey and trimmings wrap, costing slightly less at £1.69.
The wrap is made with butter-basted turkey, smoked bacon, stuffing, fried onions, mayonnaise and a cranberry and port chutney.
Aldi has also brought back some of its more classic flavours - the turkey feast sandwich and the brie and cranberry sandwich, which both cost £1.69.
The turkey feast sandwich includes the classic combination of turkey, smoked bacon, sage and onion stuffing and cranberry chutney.
And, the brie and cranberry sandwich combines creamy brie with a cranberry, ginger and orange chutney for that festive flavour we all love.
There will also be a “Specially Selected Turkey with Pigs Under Blankets” sandwich on shelves soon.

All of Aldi’s other festive sandwiches, however, are available from today.
Sainsbury’s, Morrissons, Tesco and M&S have all also launched Christmas sandwiches to celebrate the season.
But, Aldi’s range is much cheaper than any of the other supermarket’s festive offierings.
For example, Sainsbury’s turkey feast sandwich costs £2.40 - that’s 71p more expensive than Aldi’s version.
And, Tesco’s brie and cranberry sandwich costs £2.20, which is still 51p more expensive than Aldi’s take on the classic.
