New items are added daily

Hundreds of new products are added both to the website and to the store every single day.

So if you’re keen to snap something up, make sure you visit in the morning before other bargain hunters get there first.

Get exclusive access by subscribing

Signing up to TK Maxx’s emails gives you early previews of sales as well as access to designer flash events.

You can sign up for free by and entering your email address.

Search online by savings

As well as hundreds of stores across the UK, you can search the TK Maxx website via a “Biggest Savings” option.

Here you can scour bargains across a variety of categories such as toys, women’s or men’s clothes, and then filter your items from “RRP Saving (High to Low)”.

This gives you the chance to spot the hugest discounts - often up to 96 per cent off - in no time.

Prepare yourself in advance

Shopping at TK Maxx is not like going to other stores - it’s not as organised and can be overwhelming.

Making a list of things you like or need will help you navigate the sometimes haphazard aisles to track down some great bargains.

And bring food and water, too, to stop you lagging mid-shop.

There are no stock rooms

Whenever a new delivery is made, it goes straight onto the shop floor and doesn’t get put into a stock room.

So if you like something, pick it up quickly, as there will be no chance to ask a shop assistant to “check in the back” if someone else grabs it first.

Keep your eyes peeled for yellow labels

While red clearance stickers indicate a big saving, you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled for yellow stickers.

These indicate even bigger reductions that can go down to as little as 20p.

Don’t forget to claim rewards

Treasure is the TK Maxx and Homesense rewards programme.

You can collect keys at different stages of your experience with TK Maxx, from shopping to referring a friend, and then choose from an array of rewards, from homeware products to stylist experiences.

You can register for free by .

The Gold Label selection has designer brands

TK Maxx’s Gold Label selection has hugely discounted items from the very best brands.

This includes Chloe, Emporio Armani, Stella McCartney and Joseph.

Try and shop midweek

According to TK Maxx insiders, the best time to grab bargains are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings.

Best cancel those midweek plans and get shopping.

Check the clearance section

If big savings are your thing, you won’t do better than in the epic clearance section, where you’ll find everything from accessories to clothing for rock-bottom prices of up to 96 per cent reductions.

Items get moved here if they haven’t been snapped up after four to six weeks, and quickly get purchased by bargain hunters.

Bring a rolling basket

There’s nothing worse than working up a sweat by lugging all your new purchases around with you, making you unable to pick up anything extra. Bring a rolling basket with you to dump your handbag, coat and new items into - it’ll make your experience a lot more enjoyable.

Make friends with the staff

If you have a friend or family member working at TK Maxx, don’t hesitate to ask them for a favour.

Staff members get extra discounts, meaning even more savings for you.

Use click and collect

TK Maxx offers both click and collect and delivery services if the thought of fighting off other customers for that last Michael Kors bag doesn’t sound appealing.

Click and collect is free on orders over £50, while standard UK delivery is free if you spend over £75, or £3.99 otherwise.

Keep up to date with the latest deals

Using the  TK Maxx page, you can keep up to date with all the latest TK Maxx deals and discounts.

Don’t be afraid to haggle

Even though TK Maxx already offers superb discounts, don’t be afraid to ask staff members for extra money off.

For example, if you spot a small stain or snag in the material of the item you’re buying, you might be able to get an even higher reduction.

Start with smaller products

TK Maxx is overwhelming at the best of times, so start in the smaller sections by shopping handbags, accessories and sunglasses first.

It can be easier to spot bargains in these aisles rather than diving straight into the clothing section.
