Argos launches TEN weeks of ‘crazy code’ toy deals – and it starts today

ARGOS has launched ten weeks of “crazy codes” with discounts off toy ranges starting today.

Every Wednesday, Argos will reveal a new voucher code which can be applied at the checkout for a special discount on selected toys.

Each code will last for one week.

The first code is CHAD25 and is valid from today until October 22, giving shoppers 25 per cent off all Chad Valley toys.

There will be 10 codes in total, running over 10 weeks, which means there will be savings to be found in stores and online right up until Christmas Eve - including over Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Argos hasn’t revealed which other ranges will have a "crazy code" so you will have to check each week to see which lines have been included.

Some of the Chad Valley toys included in this week’s deal are already discounted - but you can add the 25 per cent extra discount onto that price, saving you even more.

For example, the Chad Valley Thunder Dome Race Track is currently half price, reduced to £15 from £30.

But with this week’s “crazy code”, you get an extra £3.75 off, making it just £11.25.
Similarly, the Chad Valley Knights Wooden Castle already has 50 per cent off, down from £50 to £25, but with the extra discount it would cost £18.75.

This is the cheapest price we could find for either of these items online so they might be worth snapping up, but do hunt around before you buy.

Be aware that Argos charges £3.95 for standard delivery, so you will need to add that on to the cost of your purchase.

But you can order goods online and collect in store for free.

Argos isn't the only one to try and lure shoppers in with big discounts on toys in the run-up to Christmas.

Sainsbury’s half price toy sale starts today and includes Hot Wheels, Hatchimal and Playmobil.

And Smyths has also launched a sale with lots of items half price.
