Beady-eyed shoppers have already spotted festive faves on the shelves at Boots, including Pigs Under Blankets and Turkey Feast sandwiches for £2.75.

Diners can even already tuck into the absolute feast of a triple sandwich, which is the most expensive meal in the range at £3.35.

We're talking Turkey, Stuffing and Cranberry, Ham Hock and Plum Chutney, and Barber's Cheddar and Plum Chutney in one packet.

But you might want to hold back when it comes to the calorie content because the Pigs Under Blanket snack contains 429, there's 408 in the Turkey Feast and 460 for the triple threat.

There's also a Brie and Cranberry option for veggies, while vegans can choose between the Vegan Christmas Feast and Vegan No Salmon and No Cream Cheese.

The sandwiches are all included in Boots' £3.99 meal deal, which includes a drink and a snack.

The Turkey Feast has also been seen on the shelves in M&S, where five per cent of the sale is donated to Shelter.

The sandwich costs £3.90 and contains more calories than the Boots option at 490.
