Wagamama’s now does an extra spicy katsu curry – but you can only order it on Deliveroo
WAGAMAMA has launched a new spicy version of its famous katsu curry - but you can only order it via Deliveroo.
The high street pan Asian restaurant has also launched a new menu inspired by Japanese street food.
The katsu curry - which comes in chicken, vegetarian and vegan options - has been on the menu since the brand launched in 1992.
But now Wagamama has created a spicier version after months of testing due to the demand for hot food from customers.
It's only available this month via Deliveroo - although, if it's popular it could be added to the menu in restaurants permanently.
We asked Deliveroo how hot the curry is and they said it has been made with a "combination of chillis".
Last week the chain launched a new menu of Asian-inspired street food including veg tempura, chicken yakitori skewers and mushroom buns.
As part of the revamp it has ditched crispy chicken buns, beef tataki, itame and samla curry, as well as its super green juice.
Earlier this year Wagamama launched a vegan full English breakfast to its menu.
We've also revealed how to celebrate National Curry Week without overspending.
