Walkers is bringing back Brussels sprout crisps for Christmas

WALKERS is bringing back its bizarre Brussels sprouts flavoured crisps for Christmas to divide the nation once more.

The crisp makers first delighted - or disgusted - fans with the flavour last year, turning the festive feast staple into a snack.

Once again, the controversial flavour will sit on supermarket shelves alongside pigs in blankets, and turkey and stuffing flavours.

The limited edition festive crisps will be sold in multi-packs of six, called Sprout Lovers, and have an RRP of £1.65.

That's slightly more expensive than they cost last year when they were priced at £1.50.

They also cost more than a six-pack of normal flavoured Walkers crisps, like ready-salted, which cost £1 from Co-op.

But it's worth noting that supermarkets set their own prices so they may actually be cheaper once they hit shelves.

Walkers is even catering for those who'd rather ditch the veg too with its Sprout Hater multi-packs that cost the same.

Each six-pack will contain 25g bags of crisps that taste like glazed ham, cheese and cranberry, and turkey and stuffing.

And for the first time this year, Walkers is bringing sharing bags of it's top Christmas flavours - turkey and stuffing and pigs in blankets.

These 75g bags RRP at £1, which is actually cheaper than a share bag of normal flavoured Walkers snacks which cost £1.50 each.

The snacks hit shelves of all major supermarkets on Monday October 7 so keep your eyes peeled.

Co-op has also launched its own festive flavoured crisps and they taste like cauliflower cheese.

Last year, Kettle released truffled cheese and champagne flavoured snacks, while Iceland went as far as selling ones that tasted like Christmas trees.
