Hershey’s has made a chocolate beer with the oldest brewery in the US – and you can try it in bars in 14 states
HERSHEY’S has teamed up with the oldest brewery in the US to make a chocolate BEER - but you’ll need to be quick to try it.
The US chocolate giant has joined forces with Pennsylvania-based Yuengling to come up with Hershey's Chocolate Porter.
A twist on the brewery's 200-year-old Dark Brewed Porter, Yuengling says Hershey's gives the tipple a hint of malts and a rich chocolate finish.
The limited edition beer will be available to try on draft from mid-October but only in 14 states across the US.
We've asked Yuengling for an exact launch date and how much the beer will cost and we'll update this article when we know more.
The unique tipple has an alcohol by volume content of 4.7 per cent and will be served in bars and restaurants.

This is the first time Hershey's has ever dabbled in alcohol so chocolate fans over the age of 21 will no doubt be thrilled by the news.
Yuengling said: "This first-ever collaboration for Yuengling combines the classic taste of Yuengling’s Porter with the unmistakable taste of Hershey’s chocolate."
