Fan explains why the Game of Thrones has been won already… but not by anyone you’d think
THE epic seventh season of Game of Thrones has come to an action-packed end, but fans still can't get enough of HBO's fantasy masterpiece.
Jam-packed with more plotting, fighting and intrigue than you can shake a sword at, the latest series has treated fans to more memorable moments than you can count.
But now the dust has settled on Westeros, Thrones fans are poring over the latest series looking for clues about where the final season will take us.
This has led to a raft of incredible fan theories emerging - ranging from the claim that Jaime is destined to kill Cersei to the shocking prediction that Tyrion has already turned on Dany.
But one fan has delved all the way back to the first ever series to offer a bold prediction about who has already won the deadly Game of Thrones.
Apparently, there's already a clear winner - even though he died ages ago.
If the is to be believed, noble Ned Stark is the real winner, even though his head isn't attached to his neck any more.
It may sound a bit wacky at first, but there's actually a touching explanation behind this claim - and it's all to do with Ned's children.
As the theory goes, all of the major players in Robert's Rebellion were consumed by their own greed and short-sightedness, apart from Ned.
While House Stark's rivals were busy scheming and plotting, Ned was spending his time teaching his children how important it is to do the right thing.

These lessons may have cost Ned his life, and set his family back in the short term, but six seasons on it's clear that the Starks are back at the top of their game.
Meanwhile, all of Ned's rivals would go on to lose their children, mostly as a consequence of getting too caught up in the deadly Game of Thrones.
Cersei's three heirs to the throne died, while Ned's surviving children ended up going from strength to strength as a result of the lessons he taught them.
Now Jon, Sansa, Bran and Arya all have huge roles to play, and it becomes clear that Ned's legacy was all about setting his children (adopted or not) up to be respected and successful rulers.
The theory goes: "Ned’s largest concern, more than anything else in the world, was just making sure all the children in his life knew what it meant to be a good person, knew what it meant to be a part of a real family.
"The other players all endlessly sought more lands and titles to add to the hoard their children would inherit, but half the time didn’t even think to ask if their children were ready for it. If they could rule it well.
