Shocking Game of Thrones theory explains why Tyrion looked so suspicious at the end of the last episode… and it’s bad news for Dany

There was one detail, other than Jon Snow's bare bum, which really caught fans' attention while the King in the North romped with his secret aunt Daenerys

AFTER all the drama, season seven of Game of Thrones has finally come to an action-packed end.

The last episode in the penultimate series was jam packed with Cersei plotting, Walkers walking and, in true Game of Thrones style, a sensational incestuous sex scene.

While the pair were going at it, the camera lingered on a sad-looking Tyrion as he loitered suspiciously in the hallway outside.

He can be seen pulling an odd and ominous face as Dany and Jon romp in the next room, and fans think there may be significant reason why.

Earlier in the feature-length episode, Tyrion spends some alone time with his murderous sister Cersei, where he ends up making a deal to secure a truce between Dany and The Crown.

He also reveals that he doesn't want to destroy his family, and told Cersei how much he loved her children, Tommen and Myrcella.

And some viewers think that this conversation may explain why he looked so dodgy when he was loitering outside Dany's room.

In the novels which Game of Thrones is based on, author George R.R. Martin writes that Dany hears a prophecy which convinces here that she'll face three big betrayals.

One betrayal will be for blood, while the second will be for gold and the third for love, according to the books.

And now fans reckon that Tyrion's chat with Cersei could lead to one of these betrayals.

Over on, one fan explained that the conversation could involve Tyrion cutting a deal with Cersei.

Since he knew she was never going to head north to fight the White Walkers, he told her to lie about it.

Similarly, just moments before, he told Jon: "Have you ever considered learning how to lie every now and then?”

By convincing her to lie, Tyrion makes sure that his family can take back control of Westeros while Dany's armies are in the north.

This betrayal explains why Tyrion looked so sad at the end of the episode, when the reality of his treason started to dawn on him.

And another theory suggests he's worried about Dany getting pregnant, since he seems so obsessed with talking about who will take over if she dies.

Could it be that he's eyeing the throne for himself, or is it just genuine concern from her right-hand man?

We'll have to wait a whole year to find out.
