Sex doll brothels will never catch on as dolls ‘can’t walk a man around the block on a lead and give them the degradation they need’ claims former prostitute
Vivien Walden, one of the UK's most notorious madams has dismissed ideas that human sex workers could be replaced by life like dolls
SEX dolls will never replace human prostitutes as they can't "degrade" men, claims one of Britain's most notorious madams.
Vivien Walden ran a string of brothels in Manchester for over thirty years before a police raid in 2009 landed her in court.
But as she prepares to see her autobiography, Eating From The Cherry Tree, turned in to a film, she is confident that the UK's prostitutes will never go bust.
Speaking to The Sun Online, the 68-year-old said: "Prostitution is the world's oldest profession, and despite the novelty factor of having sex with one of these dolls, they'll never replace the human touch.
"The traditional format of a brothel will always be needed and will always be around."
Vivien expressed her surprise that an Austrian brothel has had to purchase a SECOND sex doll to take the pressure off their first sex doll, Fanny, who had a week-long waiting list of lusty men wanting a £72-an-hour romp.
But while the novelty of having sex with an inanimate mannequin might seem enticing, she's certain that the novelty factor won't last, particularly for clients with a kink.
Speaking about some of the customers who used to visit her gentleman's club Toucan, she said: "Nothing was ever refused, even adult babies were catered for.
"Every single fetish, every angle, we had all the toys. The nappies, the cots, the bibs. Everything.
"How will men get that service from a doll brothel? It's impossible.
"That is why the working girl is always going to be needed."
Vivien added that some men's desires are so taboo that they can't open up to anyone about them, not even their wives.
And while pouring their heart out to a doll might seem like a way to get it all off their chest, sometimes a friendly ear simply won't scratch the itch.
She said: "I have seen many, many extremes.
"There are guys that have these fetishes and fantasies, and no matter how warped they are, we would cater for them.
"Even the ones who have a bit of a twist, something not right,
"But the girls are professionals and they are being paid for a service that they know how to handle.

"And when the man has got rid of all his needs and all his wants from his body, he leaves without that angst and feeling any more. and then people are left safe on the street.
"This is why traditional brothels are so necessary."
Vivien's own journey in to the sex industry came after she started working as a burlesque dancer, before opening a string of brothels with her late husband Billy, who sadly passed away in 1987.
Speaking from experience, she said: "When a man has these feelings they dominate his mind and control his behaviour.
"They need that release."
And it's more than a physical release that kept her clients coming back - and made her roster of girls a more attractive option than a room with a bed and a latex woman in it.
Vivien explained: "For example, a transvestite might wear stockings and suspenders and a bra under his suit as that's how he feels most comfortable.
"He can't dress like this with his wife, or when he gets home from work, or tell her how he's feeling.
"He would go to a brothel to fulfil that need in him.
"Take the guy who wants to be treated like an animal. You have to put a dog collar around his neck and put him on a leash and drag him around.
"I remember once in the dark outside Toucan, one man paid my girl extra to be led around in the pitch dark towards midnight.
"She walked him around outside on all fours.
"For him it was about the fear of people seeing him, and the potential the embarrassment and shame that he enjoyed.
"It's the degradation of it that turns them on and gives them the pleasure. A doll won't be able to deal with that.
"It takes a human being to go that far."
But as well as people with a fetish or a need for a good whipping, Vivien also welcomed more traditional clients through her doors.
She says they included "ordinary guys just wanting to have sex or pleasure with someone as an extra marital experience, or a virgin looking to get some experience before getting a girlfriend."
Regardless of if brothels are manned by humans or dolls, Vivien is staunchly in favour of legalising them.
She said: "There are more and more atrocities happening against young girls that have ended up in prostitution rings and been exploited.
"The Government have got to step up to the plate and put brothels in red light areas like they do in Amsterdam so they're controlled by the council and taxes are collected.
"It legitimises things so that if things happen any other way it's illegal and an imprisonable offence.
"Legalising brothels will also make girls, women and guys a lot safer on the streets."
While one solution might be to open a sex doll brothel in every town, Vivien disagrees.
She said: "The sex dolls are going to stop the girls earning money.
"These girls who want to earn money for their home needs, for looking after their children and this that and the other.
"Girls that are working need a good madam to guide them and control them, I was firm but fair.
"There will always be working girls around. They've been around since year dot. It's never going to stop.
"The doll brothels might seem like a wonderful thing right now, but ultimately there will always be a working girl - or guy."

This is meant to be the world's most realistic sex doll - and she even orgasms.
And this mum-of-two has spent £10,000 on a boob job and lip fillers to become a 'human sex doll'.
