IF you’re planning a celebration over the bank holiday weekend, Lidl have some good news for you.
The budget supermarket has announced a Prosecco deal which will make you want to propose a toast.
Bubbly fans can buy a case of six of their own brand Allini Prosecco for just £20 – saving £11.50 off the normal price.
That works out at just £3.33 a bottle.
But don’t rush off to the store now – the deal is only available for two days, on August 26 to 27.
The Lidl bubbly usually comes in at £5.79 a bottle, making this a big saving if you’re planning a barbecue over the long weekend.
The deal has been posted on Facebook by a page dedicated to lovers of the Italian fizz.
It’s definitely news to celebrate.
It’s not the first time Lidl bubbly has been seen to sparkle.
In June, their £7.99 sparkling wine was ranked alongside the top Champagnes, including Veuve Clicquot, when it won a prestigious wine award.
Last month, the store launched a drink that is almost the same as Aperol, but almost half the price.
