WHAT AN ARSE-NE

Arsenal fan left raging after prankster girlfriend ‘ruined’ his dream photo with Arsene Wenger

Life-long fan Stewart Russell was thrilled to get a snap with his hero - but prankster partner Emma Hopkins had other ideas

A LIFE-LONG Arsenal fan was left raging after his girlfriend put a Snapchat bunny filter on his dream photo with Arsene Wenger.

Stewart Russell was thrilled to finally be meeting his hero at an event in London – but the moment was ruined by cheeky Emma Hopkins.

Having taken the snap of Stewart and the Premier League legend on Snapchat, Emma used the built-in feature to add cute rabbit ears and whiskers to Gunners manager.

Stewart, from Surrey, then took to Twitter, along with the caption: “When you meet your lifelong hero and your girlfriend takes a bunny filtered photo…”.

The post went viral, notching up 2,570 retweets and 7,250 likes.

One Twitter user joked: “Heaven forbid, the pink ears made me think it was #trump at first!” while another commented: “This is gold!”

“Please tell me she got a proper photo as well…” asked a fellow Arsenal fan.

Thankfully Stewart didn’t stay mad at Emma for long.

He posted a follow-up tweet of the pair with Arsene, writing: “It’s OK guys, we’ve patched things up..”.

Last year we told how a lad was ridiculed for FaceTiming his girlfriend for 47 MINUTES at Arsenal’s Champions League match.

His romantic catch-up from up in the stands at the clash against Paris Saint-Germain was caught on camera by disgruntled Gunners fan Josh James, who was sat behind him.

Yesterday defiant Wenger insisted Alexis Sanchez is not leaving the club this summer.
