Primark takes on Kim Kardashian with a version of the cult LuMee illuminating selfie phone case – for only £9
Soon you can get the perfect selfie for a fraction of the price
FROM Disney to Harry Potter, Primark has been making the most of popular trends recently.
And now the giant chain is getting inspiration from Kim Kardashian, by bringing out their own version of her famous LuMee phone cases, which the star uses to get her striking selfies.
The Primark item is a replica of the light-up accessory, which Kim has promoted for years – but costs a fraction of the price.
Typically LuMee cases are priced at either £53.89 ($69.95) or £38 ($49.94) depending on whether the LED lights are on the front and back or just the sides.
In comparison, the Primark alternative will cost a purse-pleasing £9 and could be a much-cheaper way of creating an illuminated selfie.
A sneak peek of the game-changing product was revealed on the store’s Instagram story and showed the case in action.
Although Primark has piqued the interest of its millions of followers on the social media site, fans will have to wait for the product to hit stores.
The illuminating phone case is due to be sold in UK branches just before Christmas, so could be perfect for those holiday snaps and parties around the festive season.
Last week Harry Potter fans went wild with excitement over Primark revealed they are releasing a vast range of magical products for budding witches and wizards.
With prices starting at £2, the spell-binding collection includes pyjamas, cushions and stunning fairy lights shaped like potion bottles, for just £8.
