Mum attempts to make her daughter a unicorn cake for her 10th birthday but it turns out looking VERY rude
A MUM who thought she'd have a bash at making her daughter's birthday cake was left red-faced when the outcome turned out VERY rude.
Lucie Dixon, 38, from Perth, Australia, shared snaps of the disastrous dessert, which she labelled a penis cake, on social media.
She told how she had got quotes from professional cake makers ahead of her little girl's 10th birthday, but when they came in at around £150 she decided to have a go herself.
Lucie explained: "Basically my daughter is vegan and said she wanted a unicorn cake, and when I told my husband the prices, he laughed and said, 'We'd best get baking then'.
"I make good vegan cakes, not so much vegan icing, but we decided we would give it a go by following a recipe."
She baked four sponges and assembled them in a tower - but it was the icing where things started to go pear-shaped, particularly the unicorn's crowning glory.
"Then I put the icing on and it was a complete disaster and started melting everywhere down the sides.
"We spent a good 30 minutes on the floor laughing about this penis cake we had created."
Thankfully Lucie saw the funny side and uploaded snaps of the phallic-shaped effort on social media, and even turned it into a meme.

She explained that she was sick of people filling up Facebook with perfectly crafted creations, adding: "It looks like they have their s**t together, but I wanted to show people that you do mess up and it doesn't matter.
"It was hilarious!"
Lucie didn't choose to present the "penis cake" to her daughter Beau - instead she "reluctantly" took it to a cake maker, after a recommendation from a friend, who fixed it.
She admitted: "She re-iced it and it looked amazing. It was a really lovely cake in the end."
