Inside Brandi Glanville’s marriage split from Eddie Cibrian… and why she branded LeAnn Rimes a ‘c**t’ on last night’s CBB launch show

BRANDI Glanville branded her ex-husband's new wife a "c**t" on last night's Celebrity Big Brother launch show - and that was her being reasonably pleasant.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star loathes country singer LeAnn Rimes with every bone in her body... and she hates her former spouse Eddie Cibrian just as much.
Brandi, 44, was married to the handsome Sunset Beach star from 2001 until 2010, but their union ended when it emerged he had been having an affair with LeAnn, 34, after they met on set of 2009 TV movie Northern Lights.
The pair wed in 2011, and now Brandi claims she is regularly taunted by LeAnn, who manages to particularly get on her nerves with her insistence to refer to her two sons as her "bonus kids".
Last year Brandi told Glamour magazine that LeAnn - who is childless - often texts her about how much she is looking forward to seeing Mason and Jake - and she finds it offensive.
She said: "When I'm home alone on a holiday and LeAnn is tweeting pictures with my children, it breaks my heart.
"One way I hear from LeAnn is she’ll text me - hurtful things like, 'I can't wait to make your kids lunches and go to soccer...'"
"Marriages break up all the time. People have affairs. Happens every day. It matters how you handle yourself after and if you're actually remorseful.
"I've never found LeAnn to be remorseful. I found her to be like, 'Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah, I got your family'."
When LeAnn and Eddie, 44, embarked upon their affair, she was married to her backing dancer Dean Shereme.
Their seven year union came to an end and she later showed little remorse for how she treated him.
She told : "I take responsibility for everything I've done. I hate that people got hurt, but I don't regret the outcome."
LeAnn also told the mag that she had been friends with Eddie for months before things "tipped over" and that their fling was "very emotionally driven".
What made it harder for Brandi was the fact that for a while, she and Eddie were friends with LeAnn and Dean - and even went on a double date while they worked on the film together.
In 2011, shortly after tying the knot with Eddie, LeAnn cruelly tweeted: "My first bonus mom day will be spent with Eddie here in Canada!"
LeAnn then thanked her film's make-up artist, tweeting that she "gave flowers to all the moms for Mother's Day.
"So sweet! I had some sitting in my trailer when I got here today."

The following year, LeAnn spent 30 days in rehab for "emotional issues" but left the facility with one thing on her mind... having a child.
In a big tell-all interview with E! she said: "Eddie and I talk about having kids and I would love to be a mom.
"I didn't ever want to bring a child into the world without taking care of myself. And that was another reason I decided to go [into treatment]."
However, Brandi claimed that LeAnn was suffering from an "extreme eating disorder" and blasted the "unstable" singer after her son Mason ate a "laxative he thought was candy" while staying with the couple.
Eddie was horrified and leapt to LeAnn's defence, writing to Brandi in an open letter saying: "I know your life exists solely for the purpose of living and creating drama.
"It's a sad way to live. It's so obvious that you have to constantly mention my wife so people will care what comes out of your mouth.
"One day when wine and narcissism are not consuming you, you will see how fortunate the kids are to have LeAnn in their life.
"She is amazing with them, as the kids will 100 percent attest to.
"You should be so lucky to one day find someone who will love and respect Mason and Jake as she does.
"Although, I really don't know how anyone can put up with your constant b******t.
"No wonder you have lost so many 'close' friends. Grow up already and for once, PUT THE KIDS FIRST!"
The feud between the Cibrians and Brandi has bubbled away steadily across the US gossip pages for the last few years, with Brandi's tell-all book Drinking & Texting lifting the lid on her doomed marriage.
Last year she reminisced about how she first reacted when she found out Eddie was leaving her for the How Do I Live singer - she went in to the garage with the sharpest blade she could find.
She told : "I got a knife, and I went out to the garage. I just took it to both of his Harleys.
"I hated those bikes - my dad had almost died in a motorcycle accident.
"I had never wanted Eddie on them, because we had children. I slashed all of the tires, and it felt so good."
Brandi then rang Eddie's mum and told her that her son had been cheating on her - she claims not only with LeAnn - and that she had taken a blade to his prize possessions.
She added: "I called his mom back and told her, 'I want you to know, I just killed Eddie’s motorcycles.' And she was like, 'Thank God'."
Last night Brandi showed she wasn't ready to let bygones be bygones, sneering at the camera: "My ex-husband married a count...ry music star named LeAnn Rimes."
And CBB housemate Trisha Paytas looks unrecognisable back in 2012 when she was struggling with a fake tan addiction.
