Known as "Frisky Friday", tomorrow is the last chance for most cheaters to play away before schools break up and their family comes first for a few weeks.

Infidelity experts at Illicit Encounters clocked a staggering 20 per cent rise in site activity at the start of July, soaring up to 45 per cent in the third week of the month.

They say that this will peak tomorrow, since it will probably be many adulterers' last shots at hanging out with their lovers before school's out for the summer.

The site expects that traffic could be up by as much as 65 per cent, as frantic love rats scramble to arrange one final rendezvous.

This is because the long summer holidays stop most cheaters from sneaking about behind their partners' backs, and will see many going on holiday away from their lovers.

So to make up for the coming drought, Brits are expected to go at it hammer and tongs tomorrow - before things dry up in the summer heat.

These findings come alongside a survey of 300 cheaters who used Illicit Encounters to meet a lover.

It emerged that as many as three quarters of them were planning on staying in touch with their secret trysts while they were holidaying with their family.

And a shocking five per cent have already arranged to meet their lovers during a holiday with their loved ones.

Christian Grant, spokesperson for IllicitEncounters.com, said: "While many of us long for the summer - the longer evenings, clear skies and generally upbeat atmosphere - the hidden truth is that it's the season that's ripe for adultery.

"Combine the feeling of a summer's day, the fact that we're spending more of our evenings socialising, and with all of us having plenty more skin on show, and you've got a potent cocktail that lays the foundations for cheating; it's something that even the most loyal among us find hard to resist.

"For adulterers who are already in long-term affairs, the summer poses a different problem. Their children are home from school, and with a summer holiday on the horizon, meeting up with their mistress becomes tricky.

"So, the final week of the summer term sees adulterers meet up for what could be one last fling before September comes around."
