Jeremy Kyle guest who once ‘threw a phone at his girlfriend’s head’ PROPOSES to her live on the show… but does she say yes?

A JEREMY Kyle guest who appeared on the ITV show for help with his anger issues has stunned fans by proposing to his girlfriend live on air.

In an episode aired earlier this year, titled “Should I take back my ex? I’m scared he’ll beat me”, Mark explained that he suffered terrifying rage outbursts and became violent towards his partner Victoria.

Victoria told Jeremy Kyle that Mark had “thrown a mobile phone at me that just missed my head” and would punch walls.

Mark broke down in floods of tears and begged Jezza for help.

He was sent off on an anger management course and given counselling.

Returning to the show today after a 12-week course, Victoria said: “The last few weeks have been amazing. It’s like he’s a different person now.”

Jez called Mark a “top man” as he returned to the stage.

He said: “I am absolutely disgusted about what I was like. I’d never seen myself like that. I was embarrassed of myself.”

Jez said: “I think you are incredibly brave. These are the sort of stories I love.”

Jez then went backstage and grabbed a giant bunch of tulips, which he handed to Mark.

Mark got down on one knee as a stunned Victoria became emotional and clasped her hand to her face.

The crowd went wild as he placed the ring on Victoria's finger, leaving her speechless. She nodded yes.

But not everyone was impressed with the proposal.

Taking to Twitter, @IAintOnTwitta commented: “Every girl’s dream… being proposed to on the #JeremyKyle show..”

@lounotlucy wrote: “I just can’t imagine why anyone would think that proposing on #JeremyKyle is romantic.”

@idkCake said: “OHHH JEREMY KYLE PROPOSAL #jeremykyle.”

On yesterday’s show, a man who called Jezza a “complete muppet” was hailed a “legend” by fans.
