Lidl is launching a £15 giant pink inflatable flamingo this weekend… and it’s £40 cheaper than the posh version

LIDL are selling a budget version of the popular flamingo float which has been a summer staple on Instagram this year.

Savvy shoppers could save more than £40 buying the supermarket's float rather than splashing out on a posher version.

pink flamingo float retails for £58 and the luxe poolside accessory comes with handles and a recessed seat for lounging.

Lidl's lookalike version costs just £15 and also has small handles either side of the birds neck and a seating area.

The tropical float will be available while stocks last in stores from Sunday July 16 ahead of the summer holiday season.

Shoppers were delighted with Lidl's announcement, many of them commenting on the retail giant's Instagram post about the new product.

One said: "Looks like some flamingo fun time is in order!"

While another joked: "Considering new office chairs."
