Bitter exes are sharing the hilarious ways they’ve covered up tattoo tributes to doomed relationships

IT might seem like a good idea at the time, but a relationship tattoo can turn into a rather unsavoury reminder when things turn sour.

Now bitter exes are sharing the hilarious ways they’ve covered up tattoo tributes to doomed love affairs.

One covered up an etching of their ex by turning it into a gorilla, while another transformed their former lover’s face into a demon.

Some were less inventive, simply crossing out their name and, in some cases, replacing it with another.

While one bloke turned his tribute to ex Lauren into the Polo Ralph Lauren symbol.
