Nose tattoos are the bold new ink trend that body art enthusiasts are loving… but would YOU get one?
Monochrome skulls, Aztec-inspired patterns and an array of Buddhist symbols are popular looks
TATTOO lovers have inked an array of unusual body parts from their tongues to their earlobes.
But now a bold new trend sees body art enthusiasts get elaborate designs on their NOSES.
The tatts have been cropping up on , with fans posting photographs of their eye-catching emblems.
Monochrome skulls, Aztec-inspired patterns and an array of Buddhist symbols are popular looks.
But these inkings are not for the faint-hearted.
Not only are they on a body part that is near-impossible to hide – slap bang in the middle of your face – but getting the tatt done is incredibly painful.
Texax-based tattoo addict Erik Sprague, who has endured more than 700 hours of tattooing, told : "There is no question about it, and literally every person I know who has had this part of their body tattooed agrees with me.
"Getting your nose done is the worst.
"It's right there in your face and you can't ignore it. It's like getting punched in the nose with a cheese grater over and over again."
To combat the pain, some social media users have opted for the ‘hand poke’ tattoo method over the use of a machine gun.
The non-electric technique is done freestyle with a needle and ink.
The look is more organic and is believed to hurt less as it isn’t as invasive.
Last month, we revealed tattoo lovers have been busy showing off their knee inkings.

Luke Edwards, from Exile Tattoo, which is based in Leigh-on-Sea, said he “nearly passed out” while getting his left knee inked.
Writing on , he advised having the tattoo done over two sessions to “feel more comfortable” as he “personally bit off more than I could chew” having his design in one sitting.
Other tatt lovers have removed their socks and showcased the bizarre designs they’ve had tattooed onto their feet.
