When are the subs freshest?
Posting on Reddit, the Subway specialist claimed there's a certain time of day when it's best to order.
He said his store bakes new batches of bread at 11am every day.
So if you fancy a fresher sub, this is the time to go.
He also revealed that the vegetable sandwich fillings are always good for a few days, with pickled fillings lasting for up to five days.

The employee was clear that the Chipotle sauce is the way to go.
He said: "Everyone who works at Subway has Chipotle as a staple."
How fresh are the ingredients?
Some people have wondered in the past whether Subway uses fresh ingredients.
The employee revealed that all the veggies are freshly prepared daily, whilst the meats come either frozen or refrigerated before being prepped and served.
What's the deal with the cookies?
The Subway sandwich artist said: "The cookies are shipped to us in bags of frozen dough balls. They're cooked in store in our oven.
"You can find a list of ingredients online and then figure out how to make them from there."
What sub is the most annoying to make?
Apparently, filling a meatball marinara with vegetables is super annoying for Subway employees.
The employee said: "It's impossible to close, and the steaming hot marinara will ooze out of the back as we're cutting it, practically melting our gloves."
What should you never order?
The employee made clear that Subway is super strict about quality control and dates.
In spite of this, the sandwich artist tends to avoid the Chipotle Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken, since these two don't age quite as well as the other meats.
Is the Footlong really a foot long?
Each Footlong really is at least 12 inches.
In fact, the employee claimed that most Footlong rolls are a fraction bigger, to account for any shrinkage whilst the sub is in the oven.
How can you get freebies?
Previously, another employee at the chain revealed their tips for landing some cheeky extras.
They said that being "extremely nice" to employees is one way to get your hands on an added freebie.
