Russian tycoon forks out £7.7M on his daughter’s wedding at LA Oscars venue with £386K worth of flowers and a set from Lady Gaga

A LAVISH £7.72million wedding which included a performance by Lady Gaga and took place where the Oscars are held in Los Angeles has astounded guests.
Lolita Osmanova and Gaspar Avdolyan, children of two influential businessmen in Russia, tied the knot at the famous Dolby Theatre in a lavish ceremony where no expense was spared.
Flowers for the ceremony are reported to have cost more than most people's entire wedding days, with an eye-watering bill of an estimated £386,200 being racked up, according to Russia newspaper (KP).
Stunning bride Lolita is the daughter of Eldar Osmanov, owner of the energy sales holding Mezhregionsoyenergo, who forked out for the extravaganza.
She made sure all eyes were on her in a show-stopping gown with a dramatic lace train and floor-length veil.
According to , the bridesmaid dresses were from Zuhair Murad, where garments typically sell for at least £1,000.
Her new hubby Gaspar is the son of Albert Avdolyan, one of the key players in the Russian telecommunications business.
Guests were showered with lavish presents before the day had even begun, with special waiters delivering them with special briefcases the night before which had been made to look like those which transport the golden Oscar statues.
Inside were casino chips to use on the big day, a screen which had a personal message from the bride and groom thanking them for attending, a pen and a golden inscribed CD with the names of the couple on them.
Rows of classic violinists serenaded wedding guests in Hollywood’s iconic Dolby Theatre, as well as a symphony orchestra and ballet troupe performing.

The evening was hosted by the woman said to be Putin’s goddaughter, journalist and TV personality Ksenia Sobchak, 33, and popular TV presenter Andrey Malakhov, 45, both of whom were flown over to LA on a private jet.
Superstar Lady Gaga even performed for the wedding party in a performance which is believed to have cost a further £1.6 million.
Jason Derulo is also said to have been among the musical entertainment.
Towering table decorations of pink, purple and green blooms were the centrepieces on the extravagant tables.
And guests wandered along red carpets lined with stunning floral archways.
The happy couple could be seen slicing into a gigantic golden cake adorned with flowers, that looked the size of a human person.
Guests were truly wowed, with couture jeweller Loren Rodkin captioning an image on Instagram: “I'm in Russia or Armenia or in an episode of Armenia's Got Talent?...I can't tell. Wedding at the Dolby theater.”
The KP newspaper wrote: “The wedding did look luxurious. On the stairs, decorated with huge compositions, guests were greeted by violinists who performed classical music.
“The newlyweds, Gaspar and Lolita, looked like real winners in life. The bride's dress fluttered up the stairs with a gorgeous plume, like the coolest Oscar nominee's wear.”
But this is far from the only wedding to garner attention - with Channel 4 going behind the scenes at the Mandarin Oriental wedding where the bride was handed envelopes full of cash.
