New mum drops more than a stone in a month by eating nothing but GREGGS

A NEW mum has dropped more than a stone in a month by eating nothing but Greggs.
Hannah Barth, from Borehamwood in Hertfordshire, was a size 16 and tipped the scales at 13 stone before she signed up to the bakery chain's diet.
The 29-year-old, who works as an assistant buyer for clothing company Boden, told how she'd struggled to shed the pounds following the birth of her nine-month-old baby Dylan last autumn.
But rather than turn to a conventional diet plan or hit the gym, Hannah decided to eat nothing but food from Greggs, renowned for its sausage rolls, pasties and steak bakes, for a month.
Incredibly she lost 1st 3lbs by following the unorthodox diet, dropping down to 11 stone 7lbs and shedding 8.4cm from her waist.
Hannah told how she only munched on items from the menu that contained less than 400 calories - but did indulge in a sausage roll and a pastry bake once a week as a treat.
Now a size 14, Hannah said: "'I’m totally thrilled with my final weight loss.
"I’m just so incredibly amazed with myself that I managed to so successfully stay on the wagon.
"It’s one of the first diets I’ve done in years that I’ve managed to stay on for such a long time without coming off of it."
She admitted that prior to following the weight loss plan, she wasn't a regular Greggs customer, having not visited the bakery chain since her school days.
The meal plan was put together by dietitian Laura Clark, who came up with daily and weekly meal plans using Greggs menu items, particularly from its range, that would provide followers with a nutritionally balanced diet.
The Minimise Me weight loss plan was inspired by the infamous Supersize Me documentary in which filmmaker Morgan Spurlock ate nothing but McDonald's for a month.
It has also worked for three other slimmers, though Hannah's weight loss was the most significant.
Between the four of them they lost more than two stone, with one bride-to-be shedding 9cm from her waist.

Hannah, who has previously tried Atkins and Weight Watchers, admitted: "I think the biggest difference between this diet and other previous diets that I’ve tried is the portion control.
"With diets that I’ve tried before, you weigh out your portion size, and then you sneak a little bit of extra in if you’re feeling a bit naughty.
"But with this one, the sandwich is there, the fruit pot is there, the porridge is there - and it takes away all the faff of having to weigh things and measure things out."
Hannah's diet before
Breakfast: Cereal (Fruit and Fibre or Weetabix with fruit) or a bagel with peanut butter, cup of tea
Lunch: A salad with tuna/hard-boiled egg, or a jacket potato with beans or beans on toast. Sometimes dinner leftovers
Dinner: Pasta with tomato sauce and cheese, veggie lasagne or stir fry
Snacks: Coffee, left-over baby food, fruit, crisps, rice cakes
A typical day on Hannah's Greggs diet
Breakfast: Original Porridge and half a pack of Berries and Cherries, or an Egg Breakfast Roll
Lunch: Tuna Mayonnaise Sub Roll or a Honey Roast Ham, Free Range Egg and Potato Salad
Dinner: Cheese, Tomato and Basil Pasta Salad, or a Roast Chicken Salad Sub Roll
Snack: Fruit Medley, or a piece of fruit and half a pack of Sweet Mango
Jokingly she added: "I might take a little break from eating from Greggs for a while."
Speaking about the reaction she received from friends and family, she said: "Everyone who I’ve seen in the past three weeks [has said] 'Wow, you look amazing'.
"My husband’s really proud of me, which is really nice, considering how much weight I put on during my pregnancy, and a lot of my friends have commented on how good I look.
"I went back into work last week to see everyone who hasn’t seen me in months and the reaction was really good, so I’m really pleased."
Hannah is also living a more active lifestyle now, shunning her car in favour of walking to the shops and exercising while in front of the TV when her baby is asleep.
Last week we revealed the amount of meat which is REALLY in Greggs’ steak bakes and sausage rolls… and it’ll probably surprise you.
In March we told how a Greggs fan who calls the pastry shop his "religion" has spent more than £2,000 eating their bacon and sausage sarnies every day for three years.
