Got a Darth Vader or Obi-Wan Star Wars figure lurking in the attic? They could be worth over £5k
STAR Wars will never go out of fashion - and demand for retro toys from a galaxy far, far away is booming.
Ahead of the December release of The Last Jedi, fans of the franchise can cash in on the series' popularity by selling their retro action figures.
The figures from 1977, when the original Star Wars film was released, are now some of the most sought-after toys on eBay.
And if you've got any lurking away in your attic, you could be in for a bumper payday, with some figures pushing the five grand mark.
Collectors are desperate to get their hands on some of the earliest Star Wars action figures, and they're willing to spend big bucks to get their hands on them.
Luke Skywalker, the hero of the original trilogy, is joined by his dodgy dad, Darth Vader, and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi in the list of the .
But the main characters aren't the only ones collectors are desperate for.
These are the top ten most valuable Star Wars figures on eBay... and if any look familiar, then you could be in for a treat.
Darth Vader with double-telescoping lightsaber (£5,400)
Who's the daddy?
An original Vader figure will net you at least £5k if it's intact and packaged with the rare saber.
Obi-Wan Kenobi with double-telescoping lightsaber (£4,600)
Obi-Wan figures can fetch thousands, largely thanks to the intricate and unique saber he came with.
Made in 1978, the figure is a favourite for collectors.
Vlix (£3,000)
Vlix didn't even feature in the Star Wars films, instead starring in an animated spin-off series.
The figure is worth a killing these days, decades on from its 1988 release.
Vinyl Cape Jawa (£2,300)
Made in 1978, the first Jawa figures are so sought after because their vinyl capes were changed to cloth in later models.
Because of this, these guys tend to sell at even higher prices than their £2,300 valuations.
Rocket Boba Fett (£1,500)
Made in 1979, this figure is worth over £1.5k if it's in perfect condition.
The figure came with a rocket blaster originally, but later models cut out the "choking hazard".
Han Solo with Blaster (£770)
Dashing smuggler Han Solo was sold with a separate blaster accessory in 1978.
This makes the figure extremely valuable - especially if still in store condition.
Luke Skywalker with Double-telescoping Lightsaber (£770)
Luke is valued at around £770, but you could shift the young Jedi for much more if you find the right buyer.
This figure is so desirable because it was one of the earliest ever made, and because it came with a rare lightsaber which isn't seen in later figures.
Yak Face (£770)
An obscure character from Return of the Jedi, Yak Face was made into a figure in 1985.
These models can fetch around £770 on eBay if they're in good condition.
Blue Snaggletooth (£385)
Another obscure character, this guy was accidentally made with a blue, rather than red, suit.
Because of this, he's worth a decent amount despite hardly anyone knowing who he is.
Palitoy Medical Droid Figure (£77)
Despite only spending 20 seconds on-screen, this medical droid is a desirable addition for collectors.
They're valued at £77, but sell for thousands if they're still in their original packaging.
