Cheating boyfriend caught out thanks to Snapchat’s new maps feature… and he’s not the only one

SNAPCHAT'S controversial new feature has been causing all sorts of problems already.

Snap Map is essentially a real-time map which shows you where your friends are hanging out right now.

The new feature means you always tell where your partner is at any given time - provided they aren't in "ghost mode".

What could possibly go wrong?

Obviously, a lot already has, with couples fighting left, right and centre after catching each other hanging out where they shouldn't be.

One such user took to Twitter to slam her fella after she caught his Bitmoji - the cute character which represents you on the map - hanging out with another woman.

: "i literally just watched my mans push up on somebody", before adding that cheaters are "caught" as a result of the map update.

But this definitely isn't the only relationship threatened by the new update.

Another Twitter user joked: "The new snapchat update is already ruining lives" alongside a screenshot from Facebook.

In the original screenshot, a clueless girlfriend had written: "Snapchat glitched and it's telling me my bestfriend and my boyfriend are at his house".

But unfortunately it's more likely that the relationship is broken rather than the messaging app.

Other Twitter users joked that the map update was going to claim more relationships, and posted their own evidence.

Along with a screenshot of two Bitmojis mingling, one said: "He won't be the first and he won't be the last, first victim to fall fatal of the new snapchat update".
