Home Bargain’s new 99p Blusher is being compared to Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick by make-up fans… but it’s £34 cheaper
IF YOU are desperate to add Bobbi Brown products to your make-up bag, but can’t afford the price tag, there may be a much cheaper alternative.
Beauty bloggers have been going crazy over a 99p blusher that has been hailed as a lower-cost alternative to the much pricier Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, which retails at £35.
The purse-pleasing beauty product is available in both bronze and pink, and is from the Olivia Hale collection at Home Bargains.
The affordable blusher brick has been launched across UK in stores from June.
The make-up item is part of a wider collection that includes primer, foundation, bronzers and blusher bricks, eye shadows and lip glosses - all selling for just 99p per item.
In comparison, the £35 Shimmer Brick Compact from Bobbi Brown is popular thanks to its shimmery bronze hues that are made up of five different shades.
Natalie Howells, head buyer at Home Bargains, said: “As the popularity of YouTube tutorials and social media influence rises, the makeup and beauty sector is booming – but it’s hard to keep on top of trends that carry ultra-premium price tags.
“Makeup products with prestigious labels seem to be getting more and more expensive – but shoppers are becoming savvier.
