The young actress landed the role of quirky character Luna Lovegood – but she's looking pretty different 10 years on.

Thousands of kids longed to be cast in the popular blockbusters, and Evanna Lynch’s dreams came true when she auditioned for a part in 2006.
Evanna was born in County Louth, Ireland, and has been an avid Harry Potter fan since she was in primary school.
Remarkably, the book worm actually corresponded with JK Rowling long before she landed the role of Luna.
When she was 11-years-old, she wrote to the author about her love for the novels.

It wasn’t until later that Rowling discovered that the young fan she had been writing to landed Luna Lovegood's role in 2006.
Impressively, Evanna got the Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix part after auditioning against 15,000 other girls.
She then went on to appear in four of the films.
Her most noteworthy scenes include fighting off death eaters in the Ministry of Magic and giving Harry a pep talk during the Battle of Hogwarts.
The final Harry Potter film was released in 2011 and Evanna lay down her wand as she prepared to take on further acting roles.
Since starring in the world-renowned series, she has made appearances in TV shows Sinbad, Apex and Danny and the Human Zoo.
She has also landed parts in G.B.F., My Name is Emily and It Don’t Come Easy.
Despite her acting successes, Evanna recently opened up about wanting to leave the world of Harry Potter behind her.
She told her followers: “I'm different now and need to honour that and challenge myself to create something else, something from the person I am today.
“I feel like I'm stuck in my 18 year old self artistically when I actually have a lot more to say.”
Currently, the actress is preparing to perform at Trafalgar Studios in Disco Pigs between July 12 and August 19.
Even though Evanna is no longer working on Harry Potter, the loyal fanbase has continued to stick by her.
The 25-year-old has more than 1.3million followers on Instagram, where she enjoys posting selfies of herself and snaps of her cat.
