The little-known hack won't cost you a penny, but it does involve a visit to a public toilet.
Some savvy shoppers reckon TOILET SEAT COVERS are just as effective as expensive blotting sheets, and they're a whole lot cheaper.
"I use these every single day," one woman wrote on cosmetics website .
"I just put the whole thing against my face and press on my nose, forehead, skin and cheeks. Covers it all in one shot and never rubs off any makeup.

"Plus they're not 'dirty', as no one ever takes each individual one out and touches them."
"I like to cut these up and carry them in my purse (handbag)," another impressed beauty fan added.
"They work exactly the same as those blotting papers you shell out your hard earned money for, and they're free. It's a no brainer."
While one woman wrote: "Its kinda gross where they come from, but they are great for oil blotting and FREE!!"
Dozens of other women have promoted the beauty tip on Twitter.
If you agree that it's a bit gross, but want to give it a go, another Makeup Valley reviewer has some advice for you.
"I never use the first one because I'm paranoid it's dirty so I use the second or third one," she wrote.
"This is so much better than using actual blotting papers since its free and better than using a napkin since it's light and less likely to remove your makeup."
However, not everyone agrees this is a good idea.
"Gals, this is absolutely disgusting," one user wrote. "Everytime someone flushes a toilet, the germs are dispersed into the air for at least 6 feet or more.
"They land on those covers and everything else. And then you put them on your face. Think about it."
