McDonald’s has an entire menu devoted to Minions… and fast food fans are going crazy for it

McDONALD’S now has an entire menu devoted to Minions… and customers are lovin' it.

The fast food chain has gone yellow in honour of the cute little characters from Universal’s Despicable Me series, and social media users are over the moon.

The new menu includes a mini Minion ice cream cone, with yellow swirls of banana and a bright blue cone.

The traditional apple pie has been temporarily replaced with a Minion banana pie and spicy chicken nuggets are now also available.

But the greatest gift of all are the Minion-shaped potato nuggets – which are almost too cute to eat.

Gru’s little helpers have invaded the menu to celebrate Despicable Me 3, out next week.

The sad news is that McDonald's have no plans to bring the menu to the UK - which is despicable in itself.

Pictures of the colourful characters have been popping up in Instagram with the hashtag #mcdgoesyellow.
