KNEE tattoos are the bold new craze among body art enthusiasts.
The inkings are gaining popularity on Instagram with fans sharing photographs of their eye-catching designs.
“It is very thin [skin] that’s why it does not soften the discomfort.”
Luke Edwards, from Exile Tattoo, which is based in Leigh-on-Sea, said he “nearly passed out” while getting his left knee inked.

Underarm designs are ideal for people who want a super discrete yet strikingly bold option.
“People can get tattoos pretty much anywhere. Yes, anywhere. And one of the strangest, yet most intriguing places to get tattooed seems to be the armpit,” commented.
“The cool thing about the armpit is that you can do some really creative and fun things with it all because of the location.”
However, it’s a pretty painful place to go under the needle.
The tattoo publication added: “The not so cool thing about it is that it hurts more than you can imagine.”
