People are showing their support for London after horrific terror attack by sharing heart-shaped image of the city’s most famous landmarks
A HEART-shaped picture showing London’s most historical landmarks and famous characters has gone viral as people show their solidarity for the city in the wake of the devastating terror attack.
The image is being shared on Twitter by people who have been left stunned by the devastating rampage, which left seven people dead and almost 50 injured.
And with people on social media wanting to honour the victims of the attack and lend their support to the London, the image has been shared to show what the city is really all about.
The heartwarming illustration shows London’s most famous landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Downing Street and the Royal Albert Hall.
Also featured are figures from history such as Sir Winston Churchill, literary characters like Sherlock Holmes, Peter Pan and Mary Poppins as well as Beefeaters and traditional policemen.
Common London sights such as double-decker buses and Mind The Gap signs are also included as well as sporting venues such as Wimbledon.
One Twitter user to share the image was Caroline Buffa, who wrote: “My heart goes out to all the innocent people that were killed and injured in London last night.
DNA, who took part in last night’s Britain’s Got Talent final, also tweeted the picture and simply wrote: “London we love you. Heart broken.
While Nicky said: “Just heard what happened in London my heart is aching… sending condolences pls stay safe and stay strong.”
Celebrities were also paying tribute to those affected by the attack including Ariana Grande, whose concert at Manchester Arena was targeted just over a week ago in another terror attack that killed 22 people.
While world leaders including US president Donald Trump and French leader Emmanuel Macron have also sent messages of unity.
