A JILTED bride-to-be who was left furious after she found her fiance had been cheating on her decided to get her revenge by burning her wedding dress.
Khristella Joseph, from Texas, really did prove that "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" when she poured lighter fluid over the gown before it went up in flames.
In footage of the burning ceremony, Khristella says she is ready to "burn this badass memory" before she lights the pearl decorated dress and shouts "burn, baby burn."
And as the gown becomes engulfed in flames, she calls it a "bad memory" before uttering "ashes to ashes, dust to dust."
Khristella said: "When the dress went up in flames, I felt 100% better that it was destroyed.
"Having my emotions played with was a very cruel joke and I hope I never run into another man that thinks it's funny to do that.
"As for the dress, good riddance to it and all the bad memories that came with it."
Khristella and her ex-fiancé became a couple in August 2016 before he proposed on Christmas Day of the same year.
She bought the wedding dress on Valentine's Day and she only found out her partner had been cheating in April when he messaged her claiming 'to want to be free'.
Khristella added: "Soon after, pictures of him and his mistress that were taken in February surfaced on Facebook.
"When this happened, he informed me our relationship was nothing but a big joke and that he never loved or cared about me in the first place.
"We had wedding plans in motion but I tried to return the dress to its manufacturer as it was still in new condition and had not been altered.
"They declined to take it back so I gave myself a deadline to sell it and if I still had the dress when that deadline came, I was going to set the dress on fire."
