WHEN it comes to pictures posted on social media, often there is more to the story than meets the eye.

From strategically placed cameras to Instagram boyfriends going to extreme lengths for the shot, these images show you shouldn't always trust what you see on social media.

One of the comical collection appears to show a woman posing in a tranquil field - when in reality she is crouching in a few shrubs on a dingy road.

Another shows a daredevil clutching to a far-up rock, which in reality is only a few feet off the ground if you see the scene from a distance.
