THEY’VE mastered the art of posing for the paparazzi, but a mugshot is never a pretty picture.
Celebrities including Tiger Woods, Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton have all made it onto the rogue’s wall of shame after being hauled in front of the law enforcement lens.
While some A-listers have tried to sex-up their police picture with a provocative pout, others have looked bleary-eyed and downright embarrassed. Here’s our round-up of the most unfortunate showbiz mugshots of all time.
1. TIGER WOODS
Tiger Woods, 41, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of drink-driving near his Florida home.
The former world number one golfer was stopped by cops in the town of Jupiter at around 3am local time.
Prison records show Tiger was held at the Palm Beach County jail at 7.18am.
He was released after nearly eight hours in custody at 10.50am local time.
A mugshot has been released showing the bleary-eyed star in a white shirt staring blankly at the camera.
He was charged with Driving Under the Influence (DUI), police records show.
The dad-of-two apologised last night but said he hadn’t been drinking, it was a bad reaction to prescription drugs.
2. PARIS HILTON
Paris Hilton looked picture perfect as she posed for police just hours after a glitzy night out at the MTV 2007 Movie Awards.
Heiress Paris, 36, went straight from the glitzy bash to her parents’ house where her family then travelled with her as she handed herself in to begin her 23-day sentence for driving on a suspended license, the reported.
Sheriffs’ spokesman Steve Whitmore described her as "cooperative, calm and focused" as she was booked and fingerprinted.
The Simple Life star sported heavy black eye make-up, clear lipgloss and a rather sultry pose in her mugshot.

3. JUSTIN BIEBER
was arrested in Miami on 23 January 2014 for driving under the influence.
And the 23-year-old Canadian pop star appeared to be having a whale of a time if his beaming mugshot is anything to go by.
The Love Yourself hit maker could be seen flashing his famous smile in a front-on profile image, which showed him with quiffed up hair and dressed in a red v-neck prison uniform.
In April this year, Justin posted a ‘then and now’ composite of his mugshot and a more recent photograph.
He captioned it: “I love this because it reminds me I’m not exactly where I want to be but thank God I’m not where I used to be!! The best is yet to come do you believe it?”
4. KHLOE KARDASHIAN
Khloe Kardashian looked like she was posing for a glossy magazine shoot in her 2007 mugshot.
The 32-year-old was arrested for a DUI but spent only three hours in jail due to overcrowding, reported.
In the police picture, Khloe can be seen heavily made up with her brunette hair styled in tousled waves.
Kim Kardashian's sister angled her face to the side and pouted at the camera, possibly taking some inspiration from family friend Paris Hilton.
5. HUGH GRANT
It’s possibly the most famous celebrity mugshot of all time.
Hugh Grant made headlines around the world with his mugshot when he was arrested for indecent conduct in a public place after being caught with sex worker Divine Brown in June 1995, the reported.
The 56-year-old Love Actually actor looks incredibly sheepish in the Los Angeles Police snap, which sees him dressed in a striped polo shirt with his hands in his pockets.
6. MISCHA BARTON
Mischa Barton was arrested after officers spotted her weaving between lanes on a LA motorway back in 2007.
The 31-year-old actress set the breathalyser alight and was dragged back to the station to pose for this souvenir shot.
Mischa’s sporting smeared make-up, messy hair and she's far from well-dressed – but she managed to pull a smirk all the same.
7. LINDSAY LOHAN
Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has been nicked for everything from drink driving to drug possession.
In July 2010, the 30-year-old looked relaxed and poised as she posed for Californian cops.
Lindsay’s bright blonde hair was styled in a slick straight ‘do and her eyes were lined with thick black kohl.
Lindsay served three months behind bars for a probation violation.
8. DAVID BOWIE
David Bowie was arrested for marijuana possession in a New York hotel, along with pal Iggy Pop, on 21 March 1976.
The singer appeared in court, charged with a class-C felony and could have faced up to 15 years in prison in Rochester, but the charges were ultimately dropped.
The Ziggy Stardust icon looks undeniably cool in his pic, which was recovered from the rubbish of a retired police officer by auction house worker Gary Hess and subsequently sold for £1,900.
9. MICHELLE RODRIGUEZ
Michelle Rodriguez earned her place in the hall of shame after she was caught drink driving in Hawaii back in 2005.
The 38-year-old Lost actress looked teary in her mugshot, which showed her dressed in a white polo neck top with her curly hair placed into a low ponytail.
10. MEL GIBSON
Mel Gibson was arrested for driving under the influence after speeding with an open container of alcohol in July 2006, the reported.
The 61-year-old actor was dressed in a brown gingham shirt for the police picture, and appeared to have a lot of gel in his hair.
The mugshot ended up being the least of his problems after the arrest a report revealed he'd also gone on an anti-Semitic tirade.
11. BLAC CHYNA
Blac Chyna was arrested for public intoxication and possession of drugs in February 2016, the reported.
The 29-year-old model was stopped by police as she tried to board a plane.
Blac was pictured in a grey striped v-neck top with her blonde hair placed in a side ponytail.
