Love Island’s Olivia Buckland breaks down on Say Yes to the Dress as she struggles to find the right frock for her wedding
IT seems Love Island was much easier for Olivia Buckland than the reality of finding a frock.
The 22-year-old star appeared in tonight’s episode of Say Yes to the Dress, searching for the perfect gown for her upcoming wedding to Alex Bowen, 24.
The couple got engaged at New Year, after he got down on one knee during a romantic trip to New York.
But Olivia's search for a dress proved to be more traumatic than she expected, with her breaking down in tears and wanting to "walk out the shop".
At the beginning of the show, hosted by wedding dress designer David Emanuel, the bride-to-be was in high spirits, accompanied by Alex and her mum, grandma, auntie and best friend.

Olivia told how she and Alex are looking to tie the knot next year – and finding the dress is top of her to-do list.
Alex said he imagines his fiancé in a lacy dress with a train that really shows off her figure – especially her boobs and bum.
When it came to budget, Olivia’s mum Sarah said there wasn’t one – the dress would determine how much they spent.
Olivia tried on a £790 Mori Lee gown – which her mum loved – but Olivia wasn’t keen, dubbing it a “shuttlecock poof”.
“I don’t feel like me,” she said. “It’s too girly.
The next dress she tried - an elegant, silky number - didn’t fare much better, with Olivia saying she “hated” everything about it.
The star then tried on a slinky, lacy gown with a flowing trail from Dando London, which cost £1,794.
But while she loved the sheer, button-up back, Olivia wasn’t keen on the front of the dress.
The pressure was beginning to get to her as she admitted: “I’m starting to lose my rag a bit, I’m getting annoyed now.
“I thought I’d like one straight away, and now I’m like what if I never find one, like, ever?"
Breaking down in tears, she said: “I do wanna give up right now, I just want to give up right now, I just want to walk out the shop.
“I’m just a really impatient person!”
It was then that David revealed his trump card – a strapless, diamante embellished Sophia Tolli gown with a huge train and equally enormous price tag of £2,069.
Olivia loved it – and so did her family, all giving an enthusiastic yes to the dress.
Tearful mum Sarah gushed: “It is just so stunning, I feel absolutely speechless," while Olivia said: "Alex is gonna love this dress."
Last week we revealed that host David found the Love Island star was “the opposite” of what he thought she would be.
He said: "She was sweet, she was charming, she was a little bit over-awed, she like any bride tried to anticipate how the appointment would go.
"She was a delight actually, not at all what I thought she might be but I always keep an open mind, I never prejudge.”
While Love Island winners Cara De La Hoyde and Nathan Massey recently split after less than a year together, David reckons Olivia and Alex will go the distance.
Earlier this week we told how the couple have landed their own reality series to follow their journey down the aisle.
