Vlogger Gabriella Rose tests H&M makeup… including a 20 shadow eye palette that costs just £15
The store is mainly known for its clothing, but it also boasts an impressive makeup line
LOOKING good doesn’t have to break the bank – as H&M offer up their very own make-up line.
As shoppers may be sceptical about how the products actually perform, British vlogger Gabriella Rose has tried all of the budget-friendly items out.
The YouTuber put together a stunning makeup look using solely beauty items she bought at the high-street fashion retailer.
First, Gabbie applied a layer of the All Day Liquid Foundation, which retails for £7.99.
The beauty guru was immediately impressed with the product, remarking: “I actually really like this combination of foundation."
She added: "It hasn’t made me look too dewy but there’s definitely a healthy sheen there.
“I really like this, it feels super nice on my skin and not too heavy.”
Sadly, Gabriella wasn’t as impressed with the H&M concealer, which took a while to squeeze out of the packaging.
She said: “This is so bad. I don’t even know how to save this.
“Can you see that concealer how it’s all bunched up? Ewww! This is terrible.”
Thankfully, Gabbie was more impressed by H&M’s other products.
Not only did the translucent powder work well to set her makeup, she also enjoyed giving herself a glow using the bronzer.
The vlogger was less taken with the Golden Peach blusher, which she said: “has no pigment”.
Even though Gabriella thought the highlighter felt a little cakey on the skin, she was pleased with the overall result.
When the Sheffield lass had perfected the base products, she tried out a £15 eye palette that contained 20 different shadows.
After applying a bronze colour all over the lid, she blended some blue shadow on the lashline for a bright summery effect.
Impressed with the result, the popular YouTuber said: “The eyeshadows are gorgeous, they blend so, so well.”
Next up, Gabriella filled in her eyebrows and applied plenty of mascara to her lashes.
She loved the brow specialist product, which she said was “really easy to use”.
Finally, Gabbie applied a Kylie Jenner-esque lippie to perfect her pout.
Overall, the online beauty guru was impressed with the H&M products.
She said: “It’s worked so well, I will be using this foundation again and again.”
Gabbie also commented that “the bronzer is lovely" and “the eyeshadows are incredible”.
Gabriella isn’t the only YouTuber to test out budget makeup products.
Earlier this month, vlogger Roxxaurus gave the Poundland beauty line a whirl… with stunning results.
