Nando’s worker reveals the one thing you never knew about ordering ‘extra-hot sauce’

IT TAKES a brave chicken fan to order an extra-hot Nando's.

But an anonymous worker at the chicken chain has revealed the one thing most people don't know about the spicy dish.

They revealed to that the extra hot variety doesn't even exist - and that extra hot chicken is simply chicken with more of the regular 'hot sauce' layered onto it than usual.

The worker claimed: "Something most people don't know is that the extra hot sauce on the chicken is actually just the hot sauce, but more of it."

And a spokesman for the restaurant confirmed to the Sun Online that the worker was correct.

They said: "To deliver the unique heat and intensity of extra-hot in restaurant, we baste our legendary PERi-PERi chicken twice, to deliver a flavour that is tasty and packed with just the right amount of fiery punch."
