Many fans of the fast food chain were left disappointed when tickets for the highly-anticipated event sold out in less than 30 minutes – but luckily there’s still a way to bag yourself a spot.

Earlier this week, The Sun exclusively revealed that the fast food giant was planning an open kitchen event.

For one day only, customers will get a behind-the-scenes look at what goes on behind-the-scenes at KFC.

After having a nose around, hungry punters have the opportunity to build their own burger with all their favourite ingredients.

In order to promote their fresh ingredients, KFC are letting members of the public into their kitchens

They will also take home a free box meal, a KFC apron and a hat.

Sadly, Colonel Sanders’ secret recipe will remain a mystery on the big day.

Given the popularity of KFC, it’s unsurprising that tickets for the special event sold out in less than half an hour.

Thankfully, extra places have been added to the Open Kitchen date.

They will go on sale on Tuesday 2nd May at 3pm and be available on a first come first serve basis.
