A five-year-old’s impossible homework questions have been baffling the internet… so can YOU answer them?
The five-year-old's literacy work seems to make no sense
AN incredibly tough piece of kids' homework has been baffling the internet.
We've seen a fair few difficult questions in our time - but this one's seemingly random answers may be the toughest yet.
Answers suggested by her friends included "twins," "two by two," and even "twabbit," but eventually Royce's daughter opted for "pet".
To the family's surprise, the marked sheet came back to show that the correct answer was actually "vet," which seems to make no sense at all.
It's not the first time Royce's daughter has has some strange homework.
Another sheet focusing on the letter "K" has a similar set of pictures, with first two people easily identified as a "kid" and "kit".
The last two - one showing a group of people and another a man on his own, were a little harder.
“The answers to the two bottoms ones are kin and Ken!” Royce said. “Again, how is afive-year-old supposed to know that?"
The tricky questions come after a piece of maths homework recently asked kids to solve a question based on a girl being sexually abused. And recently scientists even claimed that homework could be bad for your kids' health.
Recently, Gary Lineker called for ban on "stressful" homework as it "drives a wedge" between kids and parents, while an adorable ten-year-old asked the police for help with her maths homework… but they got it hopelessly wrong.
