Escort who earned £3,000 a week from sex and ran popular brothel is now using her ‘sexual healing’ techniques as a relationship guru
Emmajane Love, 33, has treated erectile dysfunction, helped people reach orgasm for the first time and reunited couples who had lost their connection
AN escort who earned £3,000 ($5,000) a week from having sex has used her on-the-job experience to transform herself into a relationship guru.
Emmajane Love, 33, from the Gold Coast, ran a popular brothel in Perth, Western Australia, for several years where she regularly saw clients who sought her services when things went wrong in their love lives.
After spotting patterns in the reasons people hired escorts, she realised most needed emotional guidance, not sex, and came up with a unique business idea.
After studying how to practice and support healthy relationships at a specialist retreat in California in 2016, she launched a successful love coaching business.
Her methods include traditional self-love and life coaching, as well as the more obscure tantric intimacy practices and whole body exercises to ‘heal’ troubled relationships.
Though she doesn’t earn as much as her escorting days, she believes her unique ‘sexual healing’ techniques are far more rewarding.
Emmajane, known as EJ, said: “When I first became an escort, I did it because I loved it.
“Sex had always been something I explored and I had quite a colourful sex life.
“I was having so much sex, I decided to make a living out of it. It was extremely lucrative for me as I could charge $500 per session.
“It didn’t take long to notice that the reason people were using escorts was to fill a void.
“But after a few years, sex work started to feel like a chore. I wasn’t enjoying the physical act anymore and wanted to do something more rewarding.
“That’s when I realised there was a way I could use my experiences to help people – and I decided to become a relationship coach.
“Though I help men, women and couples with self-love and personal coaching, I also teach a unique form of relationship counselling I call sexual healing.
“It teaches people how to really connect with their bodies as well as with others.”
EJ’s favoured form of therapy is ‘hands on healing’, using body work to help individuals and couples overcome the issues holding them back emotionally and damaging their relationships.
She said: “I’ve treated erectile dysfunction, helped people reach orgasm for the first time and reunited couples who had lost their spark and connection.
“I understand the human body better than others because I spent so long exploring it and pleasing others.
“Now though, I use these techniques I learnt during my time as a sex worker to help others.
“Using an escort is usually just a quick fix for an underlying issue. But I can help people overcome those deep rooted problems and it’s a great feeling.”
The far from shy ex-call girl, who herself has struggled with relationships in the past, admits talking so openly about her past as a sex worker wasn’t always easy.
She said: “People can be really judgemental about what I did and what I do now.
“But I’m really proud of the fact I can help people to have fulfilling relationships and also be sexually gratified.
“Telling my parents I used to be an escort was extremely tough, but they were actually more supportive than I could have imagined.”
She added: “Even though I loved my work, it did come to a point where I felt like I was damaging my soul.
“I found it hard to maintain personal relationships while working as an escort. Now I’m dating again and am in a much better place to have my own romance.”
The now self-titled love guru first became an escort after a string of failed relationships led her to dabble in casual sex, where she eventually began swinging and finally, selling her services.
She said: “I’ve suffered a lot in my own romantic life when I was younger.
“I’ve had abusive relationships and sought the company of men to feel validated.
“But becoming an escort was something I chose as it gave me control.
“What I like about my new role as a relationship coach is that I’m no longer letting people use my body for self-gratification, but helping them rediscover their own potential.
“It can be life-changing for so many people.”
It’s not just clients and couples she assists with her tantric teachings, but also sex workers who are looking to get out of the industry.
She said: “I’ve been running workshops with other sex workers, giving them the tools they need to be able to run their own sexual healing services rather than selling their bodies.
“I’ve helped other women like myself to leave the traditional sex industry and tap into this market, helping others with physical touch rather than with intimacy.”

Earlier today we told how a GoFundMe escort tried to use the charity site to make strangers fund her ‘sex trip’ to London.
In February we reported on an escort, 25, who charges £340 an hour and has bedded over 1,000 men, who revealed all in VERY candid Reddit thread.
Last year we told how This Morning viewers were baffled as Eamonn and Ruth met a woman who ‘charges students £100 for sex lessons’.
