This is what Meghan Markle’s title would be if she married Prince Harry

PRINCE Harry has been dating Meghan Markle for months and friends have recently hinted an engagement might be on the horizon.
Since they confirmed their romance in November speculation has been rife about whether the Suits actress can finally tame the party Prince.
This week Vanity Fair even included her in a picture of new world leaders.
But if she does become the next Royal bride, what will her title be?
According to Royal expert Imogen Lloyd Webber Miss Markle would become a princess by marriage.
She told People magazine that as Harry’s title is His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales, her official tag would be Her Royal Highness Princess Henry of Wales.
However, like Kate Middleton, she would not be referred to as Princess Meghan because you can’t become royal through marriage.
Instead Harry, 32, would be bestowed a Dukedom when he ties the knot – much as William became the Duke of Cambridge.
That would make 35-year-old Meghan a Duchess, in the same way that Kate became the Duchess of Cambridge.

Imogen believes the pair would become the Duke and Duchess of Sussex if they did take the plunge.
The Duke and Duchess of Clarence and Buckingham are also available – as the line has died out so they are in the Queen’s gift to bestow.
The Dukedom of Sussex, for example, was last held in 1843 – and Royal watchers are placing their money firmly on that one being set aside for Harry.
