How Big Brother’s Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace built up a MULTI-MILLION POUND fortune by glamour modelling and investing in property
SHE was the glamorous gangster girl who shot into the limelight on Big Brother in 2006.
But Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has come a long way since her reality star days – and has made a tidy profit in the process.
Appearing on Channel 4’s How’d You Get So Rich? the 38-year-old model told comedian Katherine Ryan that she’s built up a multi-million pound fortune by being a "hustler".
“The main thing to be successful is to be a hustler. Be willing to do any job, anything that comes up,” she said.
“Before I did Big Brother I was doing three, four, five jobs a day, promotional jobs and what not because I needed new t**ties and teeth.
“To get that I needed to work and I was working as much as I could.”
After her stint in the famous house, Aisleyne decided to play the fame game but invested her earnings wisely.
“I came out of the Big Brother house and I thought, ‘I’ll ride this wave, five, ten minutes, however long it lasts whatever comes my way’,” she said.
Aisleyne went straight into glamour modelling.
Her first paid job was a photo shoot with lads mag Nuts, which she says made her a “life-changing” amount of cash.
“I put the money straight into property. I didn’t buy one pair of shoes, one handbag, I didn’t spoil myself,” she said.
“I knew I had to have that fall back plan because you can’t rely on celebrity world because you’re hot one minute and no one cares the next.”
Katherine asked how much she’s worth now, to which she coyly replied: “If I sold up, my property portfolio would be worth a few million.”
A few years ago Aisleyne bought cheap property in the King’s Cross area, which is now worth millions in rental and assets.
She’s also made money through modelling and TV work, appearing on Big Brother spin-off shows and reality programmes, including Celebrity Botched Bodies and Celebrity: Stars at Work.
In 2008, she launched a clothing line, Unique by Aisleyne, and released an autobiography.
Now she’s looking to snap up a dream country home that is worth £4.2million.

Aisleyne has come a long way from living in hostels around Dalston and Kilburn at the age of 16, where she witnessed gun violence and drug abuse.
She left the home she shared with her mum, Sophia Morgan, and lost contact with her father Steve Wallace, a car dealer.
Her boyfriend was paralysed after being shot in the neck and later died.
Aisleyne says thinking about him helps make her driven.
“It’s for people that I’ve lost that I refused to be beaten. I stay focused whenever I feel weak I think about him and other friends,” she said.
Aisleyne is now branching out into the tech industry and has developed a free fitness app.
“The bum is the best accessory. It’s the Kim Kardashian thing,” she said.
“But sometimes it looks like you’ve got a nappy on. They take it too far some of these Americans.”
Aisleyne says her only regret is “not wearing knickers on a night out”.
Giving advice to other’s she said: “Believe in yourself, even if people call you stupid and ignorant.
“Just have undying faith that you can go out there and work and do whatever you need to do to change your situation.
“You’re not always going to be a product of your environment because it’s not your fault. Go out there and change your environment.”
In the future she plans to buy more houses and “continue to be an absolute legend”.
