THE Chase viewers were left outraged today after a contestant admitted she’d “always planned to take the minus offer”.

Jenny had her team mates on the edge of their seats after making the stark revelation, with host Bradley Walsh, 56, visibly shocked at her confession.

Fellow players Ken, Victoria and Indy built up an impressive prize fund of £38,000 - but Jenny toyed with the idea of slashing their bank balance with the minus £10,000.

“I always said I’d take the lower offer in this position,” she said.

“But after meeting the team I can’t do it to them.”

Jenny, albeit a tad reluctantly, went for the £3,000 offer and managed to beat Chaser Shaun Wallace to make it back for the final round.

But viewers at home were not happy with her tactics.

“What an absolute snake Jenny is,” said one angry viewer, while another commented: “Jenny – go big or go home – has gone low. Classy.”

“When Jenny’s been telling everyone to ‘go big or go home’ but she doesn’t go for the high offer herself,” added another disgruntled fan.

“Let down Jenny!!” raged one viewer, as another added: “If Jenny goes for the low offer after giving it big all show, I’m gonna riot.”

Jenny and the team managed to beat The Chaser in the final round and walked away with £10,250 each after dividing their £41,000 jackpot.

Meanwhile, The Chase was accused of being a sham earlier in the week after The Beast was given a question to answer about himself.

Fans were also left shocked by a contestant who ran out of time and forgot to press the button while up against The Sinnerman.
