The trainee nurse adds the “annoying brap brap boy racer car” is in mint condition “probably because it was the only thing my ex-husband cared about”.

Her barbed sales pitch on eBay for a limited edition 2007 Skoda Fabia VRS 1.9 TDI has gone viral.

Mum-of-one Lauren, 28, of Wolverhampton — who got divorced 18 months ago — is seeking more than £4,000 for the motor which has 125,000 miles on the clock.

She said: “He wanted to modify it so I let him. He used to spend hours tinkering with it in the garage and it kept him quiet so I was happy.

“But now he has gone and I’m stuck with the thing outside the house. I’m not a woman scorned but I am angry.

“I want the monstrosity off the drive. It will help me to move on with my life.”

“I’m hoping the funny ad will finally arouse some interest and help flog it.

“I wrote a few jokey words from the heart and I can’t believe the response it’s got from all over the country.

“It’s being shared all over Facebook and I’ve had people from as far as Scotland commenting saying ‘You go girl’.

“I think a lot of women are seeing my point of view about men and their precious motors.”

The much-maligned Skoda has 125,000 miles on the clock but comes with a full service record.
