With 100,000 followers on social media, Sophie Fisher has turned Insta-fame into a successful career

THIS 22-year-old blogger has turned her Instagram account into a successful business, and now earns up to £460 per pic.

Sophie Fisher, from Sydney, Australia, has 109,000 followers on Instagram - as well as her own range of healthy eating e-books.

A couple of years ago, Sophie was studying for a degree in engineering and working multiple jobs to fund her student lifestyle.

Now Sophie interns for Women's Health magazine and works part-time for a PR firm, but it's social media and recipe development which have been her "main source of income for years".

She's not the only one. Ivona Moore, Neel Patel and Christopher Rusev all earn thousands of pounds through Instagram fame and their accompanying blogs.

Speaking to , Sophie said: "I totally did not expect it to take off.

"I started it as a little hobby - I would post photos of food I got from cafes and before I knew it people were tagging their friends.

"I was then inspired to start doing my own recipes, not just eating out."Most of them are nut based recipes, they’re all sugar free, gluten free and dairy free.

"I just started following recipes but as I continued to cook I became more creative, and before I knew it all these recipes were coming so naturally to me and it was just so fun experimenting in the kitchen.

"It just became something I incorporated into my everyday life."

Sophie's delicious recipes may look complicated, but she claims they're easy to make - as long as you have a blender.

After months of posting recipes on her Instagram account, she decided to launch her own e-book.

Sophie added: "I remember I’d just uploaded it and then gone to work.

"I get an email notification when someone buys a book and I remember my phone was just going crazy.

"I had no idea so many people would want to buy an e-book.

"Once I’d done that, I put together a book of healthy Christmas recipes, and that went well too.

"After that I collaborated with my best friend, who also has a blog, on two others."

As well as her own creations, Sophie features sponsored posts on her social media account - called - and gets paid up to £460 for one picture.

Sophie was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome when she was 19, and says clean eating has helped turn her life around.
